1. Current Transformers (CTs) Transfers larger currents into much smaller currents based on certain ratios, which helps protect and measure electronics. According to electro-magnetic induction principles, current transformers are made by closed iron cores and winding coils. First winding contains less coils and second winding contains more coils, allowing a larger current to be transferred into a smaller one.
